OGDIMORA has technically been making music since the late 1990s, though there have been a few name changes, and back then the music was only being shared with a small group of people. On and off over the years, and after a major hiatus all through the 2010s, things got officially serious at the beginning of 2020, with a renewed fire to create and share music with the world, resulting in the release of the first single, 'Prudence', to be distributed globally on all streaming platforms.

Born from thrash metal roots in the 1980s, over the years things have morphed and evolved with the addition of symphonic, progressive and theatrical elements, to create what has become something a bit unique. Because of so many different musical loves and interests (death, doom, black, progressive, musicals, classical... everything!), OGDIMORA's sound can vary all over the musical spectrum from one song to the next, while maintaining a common "feel" that let's you know you're always listening to the same band (at least I hope it feels that way!). I love experimenting with different sounds and ideas, so hopefully you'll always find something new and interesting to listen to.

Being heavily into cat fostering and rescue over the years, and with a house currently full of a bunch of crazy cats, it seemed only natural to use a cat theme in all the graphics and images... especially considering that the first OGDIMORA song released is actually a song about rescuing a pregnant cat. Lots of cool stuff is planned for the future... albums, covers, videos, etc... and even a line of cat-related merch that really doesn't have anything to do with the music, as OGDIMORA is going to become a brand in addition to being a band. I can't wait to share all this cool stuff with you all in the future!
